The day

The Polar Express

The Polar Express by coach from Motherwell, departing 5pm. We watch the movie on the coach to Edinburgh. At Waverley Station there is a one-hour performance on the platform with the chefs, the waiters and the ticket master, then everyone boards the train for a one-hour journey. All of the characters are on board, including Santa: every child gets a visit and a chat with the big guy, and everyone gets hot chocolate, a cookie and the famous silver bell. There is a merchandise stand. We finish the movie on the way home. £85 per person, paid in full when you book. Pickup in Motherwell. The big question: will you be wearing your pyjamas?
